Wall Street Horizon Introduces Interim Calendar

Companion to Worldwide Earnings Calendar to Help Investment Firms Better Anticipate Volatility

Woburn, MA, September 14, 2021 -- Wall Street Horizon, the leading provider of market-moving corporate event data, today announced the launch of its Interim Calendar product. Now institutional investors and traders can access critical dates and information when public companies report key sales, production and financial information between their quarterly or semi-annual earnings announcements.

Wall Street Horizon Interim Calendar, aimed at trading firms, market makers and asset managers, tracks approximately 1,000 companies.  Most are companies outside of North America that report earnings twice per year and announce interim financials in off quarters. It also includes companies – many from the automotive, mining, airline, retail and service industries – that report sales, production, and service level figures either monthly or quarterly in advance of earnings.

Apart from earnings announcements and results, interim figures are often viewed as the most impactful events with a known horizon that can create volatility. Interim announcements are used to convey the performance of a company before the regular end of quarter or full-year financial reporting cycles.

“Interim calendar contains even more indicators to provide investors with an enhanced holistic approach to understand patterns around company events,” said Barry L. Star, CEO of Wall Street Horizon.  “It is a natural complement to our flagship Earnings Calendar to view in conjunction with fundamental data to help anticipate volatility.”

Interim Calendar is available immediately via FTP files or API.
