Inside Market Data Names Wall Street Horizon 2016 Best Market Data Newcomer for New Product Enchilada

Boston, MA, May 19, 2016 - Wall Street Horizon, a provider of accurate and timely corporate event dates and information for institutional investors and traders, has been recognized as the “Best Market Data Newcomer” for its new product Enchilada at the 2016 Inside Market Data and Inside Reference Data Awards.

The annual Awards program hosted by Waters Technology recognizes industry excellence in market data management, and is voted for by market data end-users across the buy and sell-side. Waters Technology reported a record number of entries this year and Wall Street Horizon beat out the competition in this new category.

Enchilada offers access to more than 30 datasets, ensuring all of the important volatility events for 5,000 U.S. equities are in one place. These include earnings dates, dividend dates, options expiration dates, stock splits, spinoffs, secondary offerings and investor conferences.  Since Enchilada’s launch in September 2015, the company has added new API access as well as buybacks, IPOs and FDA Drug Approval dates (also known as PDUFA dates).

“We are both thrilled and honored to have won this award from a recognized industry leader such as Inside Market Data. When we launched Enchilada, our objective was to become the ‘go to’ source for all forward looking corporate events to benefit all types of investors,” says Bruce Fador, president and chief commercial officer of Wall Street Horizon. “Enchilada reflects the strength of our partnership with clients. Without clients' constant feedback and involvement in shaping where we take our services, this wouldn't be possible.”

Co-founders Barry L. Star, CEO, and Bruce R. Fador, president and chief commercial officer accepted the award at the Inside Market Data and Inside Reference Data Awards event in New York City on May 18.
