Wall Street Horizon Names Bruce R. Fador as President and Chief Commercial Officer

Woburn, MA, November 20, 2014 – Wall Street Horizon, a rapidly growing provider of single-stock event calendar data services for institutional investors and traders, today announced the appointment of Bruce R. Fador as President and Chief Commercial Officer. Mr. Fador co-founded the Company together with Barry L. Star, Managing Director, in 2003 and has been an Executive Advisory Board member since 2013.
In this new role, Mr. Fador’s charter will be to help the investment community better manage the ever-critical single-stock event calendar dataset in order for companies to make smarter, more informed decisions. “As we are seeing with the recent independent academic studies, there is real alpha resulting from our data,” says Mr. Fador. “By helping companies realize this – accurate and timely corporate events data can become a more powerful weapon in their data and research arsenal.”

Mr. Fador brings more than 25 years of financial industry experience including prominent executive posts as CEO of Thomson First Call, WorldStreet Corporation, Weiss Ratings (acquired by TheStreet.com) and Financial Research Corporation. Under Mr. Fador’s leadership, First Call experienced significant growth in revenue and profitability following the rollout of several new products and business units.
Recently Mr. Fador has consulted in strategic alliances and business development for companies including Kuberre Systems, Recognia and Morningstar. He received his BA from Boston College and attended INSEAD’s Executive Development Program.
